Senior Cloud Architect 

We are looking for: Senior Cloud Architect

As Klypup’s Senior Cloud Architect, you will be part of our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE), responsible for delivering cloud solutions to internal application teams based on their requirements. You’ll design and build scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures considering governance, availability, network, and storage needs.

This role will shape and oversee cloud strategy across all Klypup markets — India, Singapore, and UAE.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Understand AWS design principles, architectural best practices, and industry standards
• Design and implement solutions using AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Guide teams on AWS Cloud infrastructure offerings
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant, cost-efficient distributed systems
• Deliver architecture solutions based on CCOE standards (application and infrastructure)
• Develop multiple cloud patterns and implementations to meet business goals
• Re-architect applications for AWS and implement lift-and-shift strategies
• Manage data ingress and egress from AWS
• Analyze application portfolios and assess migration feasibility
• Integrate cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments
• Design reference architectures and support DevOps with codified stacks
• Coach teams on best practices and hands-on cloud implementation
• Promote cloud learning across CCOE

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Understanding of cloud technologies and migration challenges
• Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Programming background in C++, Java, Python, Ruby, or similar
• Strong technical documentation and writing skills
• Experience designing scalable and fault-tolerant systems
• Expertise in IaaS/PaaS solutions and cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with various IaaS platforms (Google, Azure, OpenStack, etc.)
• Exposure to full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with Gen AI tools (e.g., Amazon Q, AWS Transform, Cursor, Co-Pilot)
