We are looking for: A ROCK STAR SALES TERRITORY LEAD 

As our Sales Territory Lead, you’ll be the ultimate relationship builder, weaving your charm on the phone to turn prospects into loyal customers, all while keeping the sales pipeline humming like a well-oiled machine. You need to possess a passion for growing the business, be a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be prepared to work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment, and execute against ambitious goals.  

Your responsibilities will include driving growth and user adoption, leading migrations, and ensuring the organization selects Klypup as its preferred cloud consulting partner in India, Singapore, and the UAE. You will work closely with the small but champion team of business development, pre-sales, dev ops, and partner teams to lead the execution of BD plays. You bring a basic technical background that enables you to drive engagement at the CXO level and with software developers and IT architects. When you speak, others listen. You should be visioning and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address customer needs. 

We are a startup and expect you to bring that startup-hustle mentality.  

This is a quota-carrying role with lucrative commission earnings, competitive total salary, and benefits. As a founding member, this role is as significant as you can make it, with strong plans for geographic and team size expansions.  


 

Key job responsibilities 

  • Drive growth and market share in a defined territory
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases for priority adoption of Klypup and AWS, as well as best practice implementations
  • Accelerate customer adoption by engaging Founders, Customer executives, Board of Directors, and VC influencers
  • Work with AWS and other Klypup partners to manage joint selling opportunities to efficiently manage medium to large-scale customer engagement across tens or hundreds of customers
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Manage Deal Desk. Responsible for supporting opportunity flows for AWS programs like MAP (Migration acceleration program) and any other funding programs that might be attached to the deal to accelerate it.

Strategic Domination 

  • Develop and execute a killer plan for your territory 
  • Create compelling value propositions that make customers say, “Shut up and take my money.” 
  • Build and nurture a healthy pipeline that keeps the revenue engine humming 
  • Partner with AWS and ecosystem players to multiply your reach 

Relationship Wizardry 

  • Navigate complex customer conversations with C-suite executives 
  • Turn prospects into customers, customers into advocates, advocates into references 

Team Collaboration 

  • Work hand-in-glove with our marketing lead to align 1-to-many campaigns with 1-to-1 sales motions 
  • Represent Klypup at partner and industry events (yes, with personality!) 
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure customer success 

 


 

Basic Qualifications 

  • 4-5 years crushing quota in cloud/AI/SaaS sales (preferably in SMB, startup, or mid-market segments) 
  • Proven territory management experience—you know how to own a region 
  • Cloud technology sales background (AWS knowledge is gold, but other cloud platforms work too)
  • Track record of identifying, developing, and closing complex technology deals
  • Communication superpowers—you can explain complex tech to anyone, from developers to CFOs 
  • Startup DNA Experience setting up sales strategy for a new market or business line

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. A Master’s or MBA is a plus.
  • Understanding of FinTech, Healthcare, SaaS/ISV,  E-Commerce, Manufacturing verticals, and experience in selling to Enterprise, SMB, and Startups will be an advantage.
  • Understanding of AWS and/or technology-as-a-service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) is preferred. 
  • Existing network of customers and contacts you can bring to the klypup party 
  • Previous exposure to AI/ML solutions (Gen AI/Agentic AI experience is a major plus) 
  • Understanding of modern application architectures and cloud-native solutions
