Since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022, references to AI and Generative AI have surged over fivefold in companies’ earnings calls. Adding to this momentum, a Wallstreet Zen analysis found that companies mentioning AI during their earnings calls experienced an average stock price increase of 4.6%, compared to just 2.4% for those that did not. As we move into 2025, a new player has emerged on the scene—Agentic AI. Its influence is growing quietly yet steadily, increasingly shaping and reshaping corporate strategies across industries.
